There Will Be Music by DJ Mike, Lots to Eat and Drink, and the Artists Will Be There to Take You on a Walk-Through and a Chat.

We have 3 artists this year . 1. Andrew(Andy) Rodmell: Andy is an English artist based for the last 15 years in Plettenberg Bay. Painting in thick oils over textured surfaces Andy creates portrait and figurative images often in an urban setting. With an emphasis on skin tone, Andy often uses an unusual palette of greens and blues for shadow and reds and oranges to create warm areas Andy believes a good painting should hold the interest of the viewer, staying fresh over time, allowing the owner to keep enjoy the painting for years on end. 2. Ilse Kruger: Ilse is a much loved artist from Natures Valley, well known for her seascapes and Yellowood trees.

This year she surprises with amazing abstracts but still gets her inspiration from her love for the sea, lagoon and forest, from the interaction between light and dark, busyness and stillness, different shapes, sizes and textures, opposite colours working together or fighting one another, tension or calmness, and the relationship between shapes. "I have learnt that one can escape into a world of art, colour and fantasy when life becomes difficult.

I have learnt that as an artist, one should always try to look past the obvious." 3. Michelle Offerman Michelle started painting fulltime in 2011 after she was more involved in art classes for children and adults for many years. She never looked back and since living in Plettenberg Bay she paints most days, all day and love every moment of it. She says its been a fantastic journey and is blessed every day to be able to make a living out of her passion for art "I am inspired mainly by nature and the incredible shapes and forms to be found in the natural environment. I tend to look for the light and beauty in any natural image. My paintings are supposed to be a snapshot or emotive memory of a moment in time."
