Art with Heart: Raphaeli Waldorf's Silent Auction

Raphaeli Waldorf School is bringing the arts to life during Plett Arts Festival Week with a special Silent Art Auction on 25 September 2026 in Plettenberg Bay, with the venue at Helen Melon Properties. Rooted in the Waldorf tradition, art is seen as a living expression of the human spirit an opportunity to connect, inspire and strengthen community.

This event celebrates that philosophy while raising vital funds for the Olive Tree Fund, which provides financial assistance to families in need and helps ensure that financial hardship does not prevent children from continuing their Waldorf education. We warmly invite parents, alumni, local artists, friends and members of the wider community to contribute an original artwork to the auction. Artists of all levels are welcome, whether professional, emerging, enthusiastic amateur, parent or alumnus.

The auction operates on a 50/50 model, with 50% of the proceeds from each artwork going to the Olive Tree Fund and 50% going directly to the artist. Artists are also welcome to donate 100% of the proceeds if they wish. By donating an artwork, you will: - Support a child's education, wellbeing and continued development. - Help families remain part of the Raphaeli Waldorf community during times of financial difficulty. - Celebrate creativity and strengthen the local arts and school community. - Gain exposure through Raphaeli Waldorf's social media and marketing campaigns, including artist acknowledgements.
